Free Satisfaction -- A Rich Man's Secret

The title is what I saw at the USC campus advertisement for some gift shop. I was just pondering over Morhia's(sandeep's) frustrated post about doing what he wanted to do with life. Is free satisfaction worth it... or rather does something called free satisfaction exist? These are questions to my mind. If satisfaction was free then we would not find so many people desperately trying to find satisfaction in so may ashrams, organizations and all the places. It means that satisfaction is surely hard to find. Is satisfaction sooo hard to find? Is happiness impossible in life? Here is Paulo Coehlo:

"Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dream." "Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worse kind of suffering."
That holds the secret to your happiness... satisfaction comes when u do what u want to do. But before that u should know what would make u happy, for that u should wait. For some people this takes a lifetime. Some people wait. Some forget what they were supposed to do. there is one thing that we Indians lack when we find something that we love to do. For that i would add one more quote Here is Laks:
"Its ok to wait for a lifetime to know what u want to do. The suffering till that point of time can be considered to be the price that you pay for finding your happiness.That is not suffering. The worst kind of suffering that a thinking human can endure is not being able to do what he wants to do in his life, when he knows precisely what he should be doing. Such a human being lacks integrity or lacks the tools to act."
We need not go to any ashram, or saint or sadhu for happiness. It is within you, the power, to build yourself as the greatest in whatever you are doing. By greatest i meant that deriving the most amount of happiness out of what u are doing. If u do so, then no matter what others think of you, no matter whether u are socially rich or poor, you are the greatest person in the world and u are the richest. If u can be the richest and the greatest by just finding the satisfaction and happiness in what u do, then what is satisfaction worth? Should it come free? I would say that it would be valued more than all the wealth u can ever imagine to possess. It is the thing that will make u the richest man, Not the richest man in the world.. the richest man within u. The best of what u can become. The worlds greatest architect Frank Lloyd Wright once said:
Freedom is from within.
I add:
So is happiness
Following your dreams is the most sacred of a pilgrimage you can do. It is the definition of purity, and a key to eternal richness. It is the most orgasmic of all hapiness u can get in your life. The road may never be easy, but certainly it will make u what u are. So is it worth it? Or do you want to 'be happy' by earning as much money u want and be rich infront of others? You choose!!!!

Hi Laks, I have been wanting to write a blog about this ,In fact I have discussed with Pills about this some time back...
I used to wonder how some people are always cheerfull and smiling around ... which is something I cannot do without a reason, I need a reason to be cheerfull, and a reason to be happy.The reason that can cheer me up is "Satisfaction"
Satisfaction comes from within, one can be happy only if his inner mind tells him to be happy and a person cant cheat the inner mind.
so Satisfaction has to be something that has to be earned and even happyness is something that has to be earned.It has always been a rule for me, but realised it only oflate.
so walking towards your dream will give you happyness,
reaching a mile stone can make you jump with excitement, quicker the better.
so,
Idea = D/T
D= distance travelled i.e apprehention or comprehention of the subject, levels of understanding
T = in seconds because it only takes few seconds to realise,
idea = speed = distance/time

Satisfaction = happyness =something =creativity = ideas * application;
that something for someone could be money,recognition etc
if time = few minutes or hours then there is only understanding, drudgery,tedious menial labour.. there will be no creativity in this case.......
if the time has to be less, one should enjoy what they do
so go get your satisfaction
cheers

Sudhakar: Put that up on your blog. I have something on the similiar lines coming up.. nd thats a great derivation... makes a lot of sense. I too followed several things without understanding them. Only now that i am comprehending the idea and putting them into words.

KhelNayak: I am already happy!!!! Only thing that i have an issue is that i am not living it to the fullest!!!!!!
